The Challenge

Erin Smith, a Richmond, Virginia native, sought out our team for a total brand identity and website design refresh for her parenting & lifestyle blog, Fit Family Life.

Using her DIY’ed WordPress blog, Erin felt she wasn’t attracting the paid influencer collaborations she was looking for, or deserved.

Our Approach

After a thorough brand discovery process, we helped Erin hone in on her core passions which would later serve as the main content buckets for her blog: fitness/healthy eating, parenting, and mental health.

As we got to know Erin and her vivacious, cheeky personality, it only seemed natural to craft a color palette and moodboard with bright, feminine hues that evoked feelings of playfulness and warmth.

Her love of florals and pastels then led us to a combination of script and serif typefaces for her branding that were carried throughout her revamped WordPress blog — which was fully customized and transformed to an SEO-optimized theme. To help her monetize, we also designated space on her new online home for paid ads to carry her forward into new success.

Sarah and her team are true gems! Sarah is not only creative and talented, but so fun to work with. She responds quickly to questions and needs and goes above and beyond with her design phases and development process. I will continue to use her for all of my blog and marketing needs!
