Our proven process

 

Here’s how the magic happens.

 

01.

Initial consult

We like to start strong. No matter your scope of services, we always begin with a consultation to see if we’re a good fit for each other. We’ll chat through our Investment Guide pricing and send over a custom proposal to set project expectations.

02.

Onboarding

Once our proposal is approved, we'll send over a contract and get you set up on automatic billing to process your deposit and keep things convenient from here on out. Once the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed, we’ll get your project rolling.

03.

Discovery

Next, we’ll send you an in-depth questionnaire based on your scope. For our social media & design services, this helps us craft a detailed brand strategy document. For our more technical services, it gives us insight for your platform setups such as Google Ads, SEO, etc.

04.

Design & Development

After your team has approved the brand strategy document or technical concepts for your project, we’ll begin designing, developing, and getting the creative & analytical heavy lifting done for your brand to show you a fleshed out foundation for your services.

05.

Refinement

For each of our services, we offer two rounds of refinements. Based on the chosen concept, we’ll work collaboratively to make small adjustments or transform the direction with new insight and discussion between our team and yours.

06.

Launch

Finally, we’ll get you prepared and equipped to launch your new brand elements and intentional strategy in style. We will export, organize, and share any necessary files with you and your team to help you use and manage your new digital files or plan accordingly.

+ Can we chat on the phone about my project?

You read our minds. We require an initial consultation call for every project. On the call, we’ll get to know each other’s businesses, discuss project goals, and ultimately see if we’re a mutually good fit. This is a relationship, and it works best when we vibe well with each other!

+ Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Depending on the package, we offer payments to be made between three to five installments through easy, digital invoices via Quickbooks. For most projects, a non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking to reserve time on our calendar.

Please note that for branding packages, we do not release any final files until all installments are paid in full. However, many of our services are on a monthly retainer basis. Payments are made once per month in these cases.


+ How do we provide you with our brand assets (i.e. logo files, photography, brand guidelines, etc.) for our project?

Through our preferred client platform, Dubsado, we include a link in our questionnaire where you can upload any and all files related to your brand. This helps you save time and energy by letting us organize any stray information you have on hand. And, as always, you can send us any links to pre-existing organized files and folders.


+ If we hire you for your website design services, can you help us craft the copy?

Absolutely. In fact, we require all website design & development projects to have copy professionally written. So we can collaborate with a copywriter you hire, or you can keep it in-house through either of our writers on deck who have varying specialties and approaches. Whether you need a strategic website or launch copy written, or a series of blog posts written or edited in your voice, we’ll have you covered.

+ Will you help source imagery for our social media or website design project?

Yes, our agency has a paid subscription to Shutterstock, so we will happily provide stock imagery as needed for your project. For all website projects, we do require professional imagery—so if you do not have access to this through your business, or you aren't interested in doing a brand shoot through us or another photographer, we'll weave in stock imagery or custom graphic work to your scope for an added fee.

If you're a product-based business, we highly recommend investing in one of our Lifestyle, Studio, or E-commerce Photography sessions.

+ What platform do you use to create websites?

It depends. Usually we build on Shopify for e-commerce and product-based businesses, and either Squarespace or WordPress for service-based businesses.

During your free consultation call, we’ll go over your options and we will provide our recommendation based on your desired functionalities.

+ Do you offer à la carte services if we just need a one-off project?

Yes! You can view our full list of à la carte offerings under our design, marketing, and PR categories within our Investment Guide.

We believe no project is too big or too small. Whether you need a business card design, flyer or poster design, social media promotional graphics, or a magazine/catalogue design, among other needs, we're happy to help.


+ What is your minimum contract length for retainer-based projects (e.g. social media management)?

To start, we require 6 months at a minimum. Thereafter, most of our clients move on to a 1-year renewable contract to lock in their current rate.
